Blinking Namibie " \n \n-Matthew BossonsNigel Peakes Blinking is a poetic ode to five gardens in Kyoto, Japan. His illustrations capture various tangible aspects and visual patterns of the carefully manicured natural spaces and views. These are interspersed with words and short texts that are reminiscent of the sounds of the gardens: sound of counting, sound of sea, sound of shadows, sound of mountain, sound of far. All pictures and words were drawn from visits in 2017 and 2019.
